Should the American flag have the British flag in one corner like Australia and New Zealand's flags?

    No. In fact I'd prefer the flag didn't exist in any form. It stinks of imperialism.

      To clarify, I'm talking about the Union flag, not the U.S. one.

    No.  The US isn't part of the British Commonwealth of Nations.

    No. Australia and New Zealand are part of the British Commonwealth of nations, the USA is not.

      Canada is part of the commonwealth. They can make room on their flag.

      I agree that there is no reason to have the Union flag on the U.S. one, but why should Canada have it? Perhaps it's time Australia and New Zealand, for example, amended theirs.
