Lint fell into back of lint trap ?
I did a stupid thing and not cleaned out my lint trap after using the dryer a few time. I pulled out the screen and the whole wad fell into the lint trap. I could not get it out. I used the dryer to watch and see if it would smell or dry my clothes slowly. It dried in a good amount of time and I did not notice a smell. I’ve had this dryer for about 5 years now. This is the first time this has happened. Should I be worried? Also, I live in an apartment. I think it’s about time the dryer gets cleaned out anyways. Do I just get apartment maintenance to do that for me?

Dyer vents need to be checked on a routine bases. Ask the apartment complex when it was last cleaned out and when they do maintenance on the vents

You'll need to get it out. Fish for it with a bit of wire. If you can't, maybe a friendly neighbour or handyman could help (If Covid will let them, of course.)
