Do u think it burned him and leave a mark or no?

So today at work one of my employee hand over a Customer a coffee and the lid pop off and it spilled on his shirt and when he left he had a napkin on his shirt. Do u think it burned him and leave a mark or no

    I think if it had burned he would have said, or at least yelped in pain. Probably only just got his shirt dirty.

    It's possible since coffee can be very hot and it can scald you.

    Depends how hot the coffee was and how long it was on him.  Likely not on a shirt.

    That depends on what temperature the coffee is maintained at.

    McDonald's lost a big lawsuit years ago because they knowingly kept their coffee at 170F, so hot it could cause serious burns. They made a corporate decision to pay off more than 700 complaints over burns during the preceding ten years rather than spend what it took to replace equipment.

    Industry standard at that time was to keep coffee at 150F. What temperature is it kept where you work?

    If it's 150-ish or less, the hot liquid may have left a pink mark of a minor burn for which no treatment is required. It would heal completely in a few days.

      The coffee spilled all over his shirt and I gave him some napkins and when he left he had his napkin on the shirt. So u think it burned him and left a mark or no
