# Alg 1 help?

The temperature changes of two calorimeters were monitored and recorded, Calorimeter A contained 250 milliliters of water with an initial water temperature of 120 degrees Fahrenheit. After 10 mins, the temperature of the water in calorimeter A steadily decreased to 100 degrees fahrenheit. Calorimeter B contained the same amount of water as Calorimeter A but its initial water temperate was 20 degrees fahrenhiet. The rate of the increase in calorimeter b was 3 degrees fahrenheit per min. Write a system of linear equations for the temperature,T degrees, of water in calorimeters A and B in terms of time.

T = Temp

m = time in minutes

-----------------------

Calorimeter A

T = 120 - 2m

Calorimeter B

T = 20 + 3m
