Could Europe without US and UK help successfully repel a Russian invasion?

    That would be a job for NATO.

    Probably.  Russia's military is a mere shadow of what it was during most of the cold war.  And particularly WW II.  Any invasion by Russia would have to be after a long build-up of their military forces.  The Western democracies would have plenty of time to see this & build-up their own.

    If that were the case..........Russia would not be in control of Crimea right now. 

    They have neither the will or the force to enter into a prolonged war with Russia.   They would lose...........badly.
