If communism somehow got made into an acceptable ideology thanks to democrats, can ultra-nationalistic fascism come back in vogue too?

I mean, communism murdered a lot more people than fascism and many a wise man claimed fascism is the only defense against communism

Communism is about a "work according to ability, receive according to need" economy. It has never been achieved  by an entire country, province, county or city, and no Dems are advocating it

"fascism is the only defense against communism"

    that's wrong

You should not get your hopes up. FYI, Capitalism murders people for profit, the current “wars” for example.

  • Looking back at recent history. America defeated both communism and fascism. All we have to do now is remember the past so we aren't doomed to repeat it. American freedom can only be conquered from within.

It already is in the democrat party. Both

Communist and fascists reside in the DNC.

You’re already here, so yes, but it looks like the fad had already passed.

Does it make Putin smirk when you call someone else a communist?

I once heard someone describe fascism as "patriotism gone rabid" and I can somewhat agree with that description. Fascism takes everything that is good in patriotism and twists it into a diseased reflection that only ends in ruin.

    Fascism seems very Clinton-era today
