Both the processed cheese and mayonnaise are 'processed', Most foods have to go through a 'process' to get the end product.

    guess what?

    the mayo is processed too.

ALL food is. If it weren't it would still be in the pasture, in the udder, in the field.

Processing is the act of changing the food from its natural state to edible: butchering, washing, cutting, freezing, canning is all "processing."

Read the labels.  Some of the Kraft cheese is a "processed cheese food" some of the cheese is "real" cheese.

There are many companies other than Sargento that makes "real" cheese...they just had a better advertising team working on that slogan.

Kraft supplies non-processed cheese - their most popular just happen to be American processed 'cheese'.

Don't like it don't buy it.
