Do you buy the explanation?

There are a group of guys in my class who have been ganging up on me and making fun of me and trying to ridicule me for weeks now.

I reported to a teacher.

When the teacher was questioning them they said that it was all friendly and they were just teasing me and that they never wanted to hurt me.

Of course not. It is exactly what I would expect them to say (a lie).

I would make sure that this is reported to the administration (i.e. vice principal, etc) by the teacher or you and it is recorded some place. That way, if it doesn't stop and you need to report it again, there is a record of you reporting it.

It's not easy, but the most effective way of dealing with any kind of teasing is just to look bored and weary and pay no attention.

If you show no reaction to the comments, it will stop.

Well, a gang isn't going to admit to being mean to you, are they.

However, now that the teacher knows who they are, they may stop, or, they may get meaner. So, don't think it is over with yet.

    No, it doesn't seem believable.
