Best answer: Of course I do.
In fact I already consider John Cena a Legend by 2010. Cena has done it in WWE all since 2010. From 2011 till present, Cena just adds another accomplishments to his resume. Cena's WWE run is just so Legendary. I mean during Attitude Era, we had Steve Austin and The Rock as Faces of WWE. In just 5 years (around 2002), both already reached Legendary status. They carried WWE on their shoulder. The same can be said for John Cena. The man carried WWE in his shoulder since 2005. By 2011, he had reached that status. We can see the list the opponents Cena had faced and having classic matches with, It's the who's who in WWE : Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle, Triple H, Edge, Rob Van Dam, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, Batista and the list goes on and on. Not just with who's who, Cena can have memorable good matches with anyone from brawler JBL, agile giant Umaga, slow giant The Great Khali, technical powerhouse Bobby Lashley, and still many more.
Cena's run as Face of WWE is awesome, just like his predecessors, such as Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, and Triple H. Cena's run is just as historic as those Legends'. In fact, Cena's run is longer than all of them, including the Almighty Hulk Hogan. Cena is Face Of WWE for 12 years (2005-2017), his bout against Roman Reigns at No Mercy 2007 is the passing of the torch. While Hogan was Face of WWF for 9 years (1984-1993). So, Cena surprassed Hogan. Even after 2010, Cena is still Face Of WWE. When CM Punk was WWE Champion from late 2011-early 2013, Cena is still the center of attraction in WWE. WWE even played that in storyline where CM Punk showed his jealousy towards the attention Cena had. And during those years, Cena still add classic matches to his resume with new opponents and the younger generation of wrestlers such as the returning MMA fighter Brock Lesnar, the technician Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, and still many more. Since 2011, Cena has been the target for younger generation of wrestlers to make a name for themselves, including Wade Barrett, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt, Rusev, etc.
So, since 2010, Cena is already a Legend. The fact that his run continues for "seven" more years till 2017, IMHO, John Cena is not just a Legend, but he is in the same level with the biggest Legends in WWE History along with The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, The Rock, and Triple H.
